My article on WSRP is being promoted on ONJava now. It is the third big image from the left titled “Web Services for Remote Portlets”.

Hi,
I’m new to WSRP and can you please clarify the following doubts:
1. I’m having portal written in microsoft techs i.e ASP for frontend and COM/DCOM in middle tier running in IIS 6.0. Can I be able use this ASP files to act as portels? Actually I want to display some of my screens in other portals. I guess this is possible by using WSRP. What modifications are required in my code to make it portel compliant?

2. Is WSRP 2.0 released?

Thanks
Ravikumar S

You might want to check Netunity’s implementation of WSRP for ASP and .NET support

WSRP 2.0 is scheduled to be released later this year (2006).

I’m having portal written in ASP pages. How do I convert this into portel? What are all the modifications I’ve to do using WSRP standard to make it portel compliant. To be simple, I want to show my screens in some other portal.

Thanks a lot sir. I repeatedly post same questions because screen hasn’t refreshed my questions after posting. I even tried refreshing the page after clearing cache but in vain.
