I wanted to see how it feels to ride under snow. I have never done that before, and so, I took out my cross bike today. The snow is wet, but there is several inches of it on the ground now, and it is still falling. I had to put the feed down and push to get uphill, and getting down needed some technique. The problem with breaking is that once snow gets packed in the tire tread, tires begin to lose traction.
If Seattle area could keep up the promise, I will definitely get a KtraK. But I doubt if it will.

Hey, cool! Fun pictures and hadn’t heard that you’d bought a cross bike (nice!). How’s the cross / hard pack dirt riding up in the NW? Enjoy the snow.
