My Orbea Orca
Here is my Orbea Orca - the Mac bike.
Sadly for me, since the day I got this bike, I did not get to ride it as much as liked to. I got this about a month ago. The next morning I got it, I left for Germany for a full sunny week. Then there was bad weather. Again I’m leaving for JavaOne next week, and won’t be back till 13th. In the mean time, this piece of art has to stay indoors.
The good folks at Sports Garage in Boulder fit this bike for me. The ride quality is superb, it accelerates smoothly and climbs well. Most of all, it motivates me to ride better - except on a rainy/cold day like today.
Cucharas Pass Ride
I rode Cucharas Pass (9941ft) starting from La Veta (7040ft) to Trinidad Lake State Park (6300ft) yesterday. This is one of the most difficult rides I did in a couple of years….
